About Alexis

Hi, my name is Alexis! I was fortunate to be born and raised in Tampa, FL. I help individuals struggling with ADHD, anxiety, autism, and depression. I can also help couples improve their communication skills, addressing underlying issues, finding new ways to connect, understanding each other better, and finding ways to have constructive disagreements. I enjoy working with people who need guidance to achieve greater fulfillment in their life or career.

Outside the therapy office, my husband and I are dog and kitty parents and foodies, and we love traveling. I always create art pieces or revive plants for my sister’s local floral shop. We love to be outside or hang out at the house with our fur family.

Why I became a counselor.

Since I was young, I knew I wanted to help others grow to meet their potential. As I spent the last 15 years as a cosmetologist, it showed me different perspectives from people and allowed me to help educate others on what it means to “look good and feel good.” Now, I can help others feel uplifted about how they think about themselves and progress toward personal fulfillment in their lives.

Education, Experience, and Approach.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my master’s degree in 2020 and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2017. My approach to our sessions is integrative and brought with warm collaboration, support for your needs, and encouragement to become an independent thinker so that you can progress towards a more authentic life.

It is hoped that the client’s experience will lead them to their discoveries with my guidance, when needed, along the way. Everyone’s life experience is unique, and so should their therapeutic experience. Let’s collaborate to tailor a plan that works for you!
